Overview

CTS Group SA is looking for an experienced, innovative, and resourceful professional to join our team in our office in Lisbon. This is a full-time position focused on building hydraulics design for industrial and mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed designs, including reports, specifications, and preparation of associated drawings from concept to construction, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Design water-based fire protection systems, especially wet and pre-action sprinklers and exterior fire rings to supply exterior hydrants.
  • Design exterior potable water/drinking water supply systems.
  • Design domestic cold, hot, and return water supply networks.
  • Design recycled and non-potable water supply systems.
  • Design wastewater and rainwater drainage networks.
  • Design rainwater harvesting systems.
  • Design indirect drainage networks.
  • Evaluate the sustainability and environmental impact of projects.
  • Ensure projects are carried out within established deadlines.
  • Develop tools and working methodologies to improve results and productivity.
  • Efficiently manage resources and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors.

Required

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Junior level: Minimum of 3 years professional experience in building hydraulics design focused on industrial or mission-critical facilities.
  • Intermediate to Senior level: Minimum of 5 years professional experience in building hydraulics design focused on industrial or mission-critical facilities.
  • Autonomy in licensing and execution processes with Authorities having jurisdiction.
  • Experience in licensing processes and liaison with Local Authorities.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory; other languages are a plus.
  • Excellent team working skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Ability to design efficient technical solutions that meet client needs, calculated and dimensioned according to applicable regulations.
  • Expertise in AutoCAD and ACC platform.
  • Good knowledge of EN 12845 and NFPA 13 standards.
  • Good knowledge of LEED and BREEAM programs.
