Senior Electrical Engineer

CTS Nordics AS is looking for an experienced, innovative, and resourceful professional to join our team in our office in Oslo, Norway. This position is a full-time position.

Responsibilities (but are not limited to):

• Provide solutions for interface challenges during project execution.
• Offer input on potential improvements to designs.
• Monitor installation quality and provide feedback through snagging lists.
• Review LV switch panels for compliance with LV switchboard specifications and single-line diagrams.
• Collaborate with the design team, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of electrical systems with other project disciplines.
• Develop complex electrical calculations, schematics, layouts, and detailed drawings using industry-standard tools.
• Design and specify advanced electrical components and systems for data center projects.
• Understand and anticipate client requirements, ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with the latest electrical regulations, codes, and industry standards..
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed project documentation, including reports, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to align and integrate all project aspects.

Qualifications:

• Data center experience required.
• Senior – Minimum 8 years with 2+ years of work experience with data centers is a must.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree study in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in design management, preferably within the data center, industrial, or commercial construction sectors.
• Familiarity with Nordic/European building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership capabilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment with tight deadlines.
• English Proficiency is mandatory both written and oral.

• Proper understanding of fire safety systems and building layout.
• Proper understanding of the impact of mechanical systems on the acoustic impact on the environment, the 3d implementation on the building and room layout, the structural impact of various technologies
• Excellent teamwork skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Great organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills with client-facing meetings
• Interact with design partners from other engineering disciplines.
